The SysGo module is common between Level 1 and Level 2.

For Level 1, the SysGo module must be part of the Boot file. For Level 2, the SysGo module is an optional part of the Boot file. If it is not included in the Boot file, it can reside in the root directory of the boot device (/DD), saving system RAM.

There is also a SysGo variant, SysGo_bd which loads parameters from a configuration file, '/DD/SYS/sysgo.cfg'.
